Michael is a newly-minted attorney from Chapel Hill, North Carolina and Susan's chief researcher. He is a graduate of Campbell University's law school in Raleigh, North Carolina and has a Bachelor's in Psychology and English from Denison University in Granville, Ohio. Michael is licensed in North Carolina and will be sitting for the Ohio bar in 2017. He has demonstrated excellent trial, research and drafting skills. Michael is married and has two dogs. He has a passion for writing, books, film, running and his family.
The law practice of Susan Zeller Dunn provides legal services in Cincinnati and it's surrounding communities. It was built around the belief that disputes can be resolved with a sound understanding of the law, and equal parts common sense and empathy. No one wants to be in involved in litigation, let alone child custody litigation, so whenever possible, we craft solutions that preserve parents' working relationships. And, most importantly, we do all we can to improve the lives of our client's children. Our practice focuses on providing Ohio Child Custody Law legal services. A parent, educated on the law and with reasonable expectations, is in a far better position to build a healthy, positive plan for their children. Among the purposes of this website is to aid in educating parents and to lead them to help when they need it.
Susan was individually chosen and publicly recognized by The Cincinnati Enquirer in 1999 as a ‘Hometown Hero’ for her commitment to public service and children's issues. She was also recognized by the Cincinnati Bar Association for her public service work. For several years, Susan has done charity work for families and children. She was a disaster services volunteer for the American Red Cross helping fire and tornado victims, as well as the homeless. She has been involved in fundraising for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center for ten years.
n 1991, Susan entered Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University. While at Chase, Susan earned book awards for outstanding achievement in Constitutional Law, Family Law and Trial Advocacy. Susan was also awarded the Judy M. West Scholarship as an outstanding nontraditional student. Susan became a licensed Ohio attorney in 1994.
Susan has taught Legal Research and Writing at Salmon P. Chase College of Law, and Business Law at University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati State Technical and Community College. In 2007, she entered University College London as a graduate student to pursue her Master of Laws (LLM) in international comparative law.
Susan has handled more than a hundred family law cases over her 21 years of practice. She is a certified Ohio Guardian Ad Litem, and a certified Mediator.
Susan has been married more than 30 years. She has raised her family and spends her time now helping other families. She enjoys travel, film, books and spending time with her loved ones.
